Sara* had to drop out of high school due to illness.  Her uncle in the city promised her computer training if she moved there.  But instead, when she arrived, Sara was forced into hard labor under harsh conditions.  

She escaped and married, but her marriage ended and left her with a newborn son and no way to support him.  A neighbor offered her a job at a club in exchange for childcare.  It was a dangerous living situation.  Sara was forced to work in clubs and sell herself on the streets while her son’s “caregiver” threatened to sell him if she didn’t pay up. 

Desperate, Sara asked a stranger to help her, and he and his wife put her in touch with an organization that rescued her and brought her and her son to a safe place where a team helped her rebuild her life.  Now she is employed making FAVE Bags and is grateful that even during Covid, she was able to keep her job.
