Hani comes from a poor family. Her mother operates a little food store in front of their house, selling rice and vegetables to the blue collar workers in their village.  Through hard work and their meagre income, Hani’s parents were able to put her through University.  During her university years, Hani would buy little snacks from town, repackage them, and sell them at the campus to supplement her transportation money to and from her home to the University.    

When Hani graduated, she searched a long time and eventually found a job as an administrator with a company in a nearby town.  Her transportation was an old motorcycle her uncle loaned to her for the 

45-minute commute from her village.  

Her work environment was very unpleasant as her employer would shout and scream at his employees on a daily basis. Hani was not the recipient of his rantings, but she found the environment unbearable.     

Finally, she decided to quit and came to work with us as our shop manager.  We found Hani very efficient and dependable in her work with us.  She is the face of our business in the community and represents us well in our absence. 

After getting married, Hani continued to help her younger siblings through school and University. She now has 2 young daughters of her own. Her mother helps take care of the older daughter and Hani brings her younger daughter to the shop while she works.

During the pandemic, her husband lost his job as a driver.  Happy is now the sole bread winner for her family.  Her  husband's younger brother also lives with them and is depending on them to provide for him as well. 

Hani is sincerely committed to the business.  She oversees the production of our FAVE Bags, ensuring a consistent, high quality product.  She is also responsible for managing the printing of our labels. She is amazing, juggling a full time job with two little girls to care for and is setting a wonderful example for both of them.
